The details
Volt Bat is a baseball and softball training bat with the electronics built into the knob, not clipped on. It detects every swing and every ball contact on the bat itself, computes bat speed, attack angle, contact timing, swing plane and rotation at 1 kHz, and syncs over Bluetooth to the companion app for history and trends.
Built for the cage
- ESP32-S3 with a high-rate IMU and a ±200 g accelerometer for clean contact detection.
- Summary and raw traces stored on the bat; sync when you are done.
- USB-C charging, a full session on a charge.
